Armada is a Amsterdam-based record company. It was founded in June 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis, whose names stand for ARMADA. Armada has brought countless quality releases within the wide spectrum of electronic dance music. It hosts its very own worldwide events, featuring many talented DJs. What their DJs mainly release is Trance, a genre of electronic dance music, which is mixing many layers and rhythms to create build and release. Trance is also characterized for its use of orchestra sound throughout the music. I used both classic and modern typefaces with rhythmic patterns repeating like beats and drums for its new identity. It is also related to the melodic sound of piano, which you can often hear from Trance music.
